Our Story

The Niles Group was born from purpose and a refusal to settle. After years in recruiting, I realized I no longer enjoyed the work. The constant demand for impossible candidates and unrealistic job descriptions wore on me. I was advocating for talented professionals, but the system often failed them. 

What energized me most was helping people see past limitations toguiding career pivots, refining resumes, and building confident networking strategies. I loved helping professionals uncover what's next and move toward it with strategy and intention. As I spoke at universities, companies, and leadership programs, the vision became clearer: people and organizations were struggling with change because they lacked the tools and know how to navigate it with ease. 
That’s when I realized I had a unique advantage. I’ve successfully navigatedfour distinctcareers (​IT, higher education, human resources, and insurance}. It’s why TheNiles Group works so well with professionals and companies in STEM, business, and education because I’ve walked the path myself. Those experiences taught me how to pivot with purpose, lead through transition, and understand the real dynamics of multiple industries. I discovered my staple framework for making that happen and I was ready to go. 

I also bring the power of education to every client engagement. I hold a BBA in Business Computers Information Systems, a BA in Africana Studies, and an MBA in Business Management, which helps me balance strategy with cultural insight and innovation with impact. Today, The Niles Group helps professionals and organizations do more than just manage transition, we help them leverage it.
